The time has come for me to move on from show cars and over powered beauties. I am reorganizing my social life and have decided I want to simplify my S2000 experience with a nice late model AP2 or CR.

My current S2000 needs an appropriate home. She is a great track or show car for somebody to make their own. tear off a couple of the show stuff and she is ready for the track, or spifiy up a couple of things and start collecting trophies....LOL

Disclosures:

• Car is running STRONG currently at 10 lbs of boost producing roughly 400-420 hp depending on which dyno you are on, month of the year etc etc..... LOL
• Front clip needs a little bodywork and repaint...Has stress cracks an some spidering in the paint and front end due to down-force at a Sebring track day
• Drivers door needs electronics inspected for window actuator issues when tops goes up and down
• Currently chasing down a power draw on the batter that will deplete the battery if not driven within a 2-3 week period
• Engine bay is getting a full dress up and rework to fix some minor issues (exhaust leak at manifold, old braided lines and connectors getting replaced, refreshing alum polish work, new dress up bolts, new coatings on valve and spark covers etc)
• trunk stereo equipment is completely uninstalled. Buyer will get everything that was in the trunk to use for a fresh build or to sell off etc. I will be delivering all the trim for taking the trunk back to OEM spec when desired.

ASKING $15,000 (pretty firm) that's only a couple grand above KBB for a 2001 S2000 in medium condition private sell. Priced to move!!!

Damn Rob. Sad to see her go, but I can understand what you're doing. Definitely hope you get back into an S2000.

I don't think that car could have had a better second owner (since the 'beast' transformation of course.) I understand your situation and wish you luck on the sale and hopefully finding another S2000 to carry on with.

It is a fantastic decision. You deserve to be in a car that only requires a turning of a key. We need you back in a ride that needs only only an impeteous wink at the Mrs about going out tonight, and then....a wink of concur, and off you go. Maximixed modded cars are very cool but; only if they can be driven from point A to point B.

Find yourself a garaged kept, AP2, with adult owned history. Buy it, regardless of price and enjoy the freedom of "no stress" and finally be the full compliment to the car, your wife, and our Forum. We need you and, you deserve us. But, the requirement is a car and an owner that can be visable.

Simply stated, this car is on the rise of enjoyment and reliability is it's Swan Song. Find one that is worth keeping and leave the "Ghost Riders" at the alter of braggin' rites. There is always someone with a faster, more awarded, more betta' car. But, that is not the point with these cars and with the local folks who want to see you.

 

She is a beauty! How many miles on her?
