I've had this car for about 8 months, bought it from a member here. I am selling to free up some money.
The car was purchased with the mods below and has been my daily driver on/off as I have a second car. It has been very reliable and never left me stranded.
2005 Silverstone s2000 with about 57k miles. Clean FL title in hand with no accidents. See autocheck report on the ebay auction here
Engine:
- Vortech V2 supercharger with 5” pulley ~6psi. As you can tell from the video it is still in perfect condition (no weird noises). It definitely helps that it has had the low boost pulley on for it’s whole life. He also went with the V2 system as it seems to be more reliable since it taps the oil pan rather than being self lubricating.
- Comptech adjustable FPR: Vortech fmu sucks and is not adjustable.
- Fuel pressure gauge (great for fine tuning the FPR)
- Greddy Emanage ultimate: Tuned by Alpha @ Induction Performance - 303 whp/198 wtq
- Science of Speed upgraded heat exchanger (not needed @ my boost level but it is hot as hell here in FL so it is more for safety)
- Walbro fuel pump
- Stock exhaust/headers/cat/injectors
- Oil changed religiously every 1-2k miles with Pennzoil Platinum 10w-30 (does not burn/leak any oil)
- Transmission and differential fluid changed regularly.
- Stock clutch. Holds great and no slipping!
- Clutch delay valve delete (AP1 clutch slave) with fresh clutch fluid
- Mugen 1.3 radiator cap.
- New Battery
Suspension/brakes:
- Eibach springs with “newer” oem shocks off an 08. < 15k miles on combo
- Tanabe front sway bar
- UK spec alignment - car handles great very neutral handling!
- 08 CR front calipers
- Newish Rotors and Pads (about 5k miles)
- Fresh ATE super blue brake fluid
- TSW Nurburgring 17x9 wheels (same exact specs as 949’s ulr’s but I liked the looks a lot better)
- Kumho XS tires 245 front/255 rears. Fronts have plenty of tread left, rears and down to the wear marks. I have a pair of used BFGoodrich KDW (90%) that I can throw in with the sale.
Interior/Exterior:
- OEM CR steering wheel
- Moddiction countersunk anvil shift knob
- Polk audio components with 4ch amp under driver seat
- JVC powered sub under passenger seat. Perfect amount of bass.
- Pioneer headunit with XM radio and ipod adapter with control (I leave mine ipod under the dash)
- AEM uego wideband custom mounted where audio mode button was (still have stock piece). also hardwired to the emanage for easy datalogging.
- Coastal metals front splitter
In effort of full disclosure, myself and the previous owner have taken this car to 3 track days in total. 2 at Sebring and 1 trackday in Gainesville. Needless to say, the car performed flawlessly.
There are also a few exterior blemishes that were there when I bought the car but are barely noticeable unless up close. I tried to illustrate them all but for a 6 year old car it is still in excellent condition and mechanically perfect.
Issues:
The soft top has slight tears forming in the usual spots (see pictures), but does NOT leak and is otherwise in great condition.
The car throws a P0471 (lean condition) code every 250mi or so. It goes away on its own after 200mi. Datalogging the car shows that the A/F is between 11-12 at all times. See previous owner's post about the issue here.
The price is $16,900. PM me with any questions, I will respond quickly. Thanks for looking!
