WTB F20C1 Head
Thanks Scott. No story to tell speedy, broke a cam guide cap re-installing the cams after replacing valve seals and retainers. I didn't do it myself, but it happened, and now I get to try my hand at replacing the head
do you think you could find some used caps and assemblies and just plasti-gage to check for clearances? Not sure about the price difference ... but, i totally understand just taking a complete working head and strapping it on
just PM if you want anyone to hand you tools

Ok, my dad got the old head off today, cylinder walls and pistons look like new still
A small carbon scorch on the bottom of the head gasket bridges the gap between #2 & #3, and I have burnt intake and exhaust valves on #2 (both rearward valves) and both valve seals on the exhaust of #4 are cooked. That would explain my loss in power and where the leakdown airpressure was going...
As far as just swapping the rocker assemblies, everyone I talked to said no way, its not worth it to even try. John at Panducky hooked me up with his head, many, many thanks John!
Sup Roger! Yea, work and school is about all I do these days...one more year and that BSME is mine
