I have an AP1 2001 in Silverstone Metallic for sale that was recently damaged in a flood (see the post here). I'd love to repair it, but don't have the skill or patience required for electrical work and need a new car now

The car has a Georgia title (I can get it transfered if you want; thought that I already had but apparently they only did the registration and the title wasn't included) and is currently at Automotive Specialists in Round Rock who are cleaning it up a bit for whomever buys it (you don't have to worry about this; I'll pay it. Just wanted to make sure it didn't start rotting/rusting from all the water.).

I'm starting out at $4000 OBO for the car with the Enkei wheels. I'm willing to sell it without the wheels, but you'll need to trailer it or bring your own wheels to swap out. The car does drive, but the electrics are hosed and will probably need to be replaced. You could limp it home if you're in Austin, but I couldn't recommend driving it long distances or on the highway in good faith without a lot more work first. Currently it starts up and idles fine, but after a few minutes it starts revving funny (probably water in the exhaust boiling, I can take care of this this weekend if you're worried about it).

Make an offer; worst I can say is no. I have the full history of the car since I've bought it; every oil change, alignment, engine and transmission work, etc. and will throw in a car cover. I do already have a few offers or people who are interested, but I'm not sure how serious they are and I'll give preference to S2ki members who will treat it right; I'd love to see this car restored one day.

Not sure since the electrics are mostly fried. I'll try and check it this weekend; my mechanic said the engine and transmission are fine, but I have no idea if the electrics will allow me to check the codes or not.
