'06 Honda Ridgeline
So, we got our first Ridgeline in today. It doesn't actually come out til March 1st though. It's pretty nice and drives well, it feels tighter than the Pilot. Seems like it will make a nice truck/SUV. I think they are going to sell well, even though the prices start in the upper 20s.
What's everyone elses opinion on it?

Well, it's a nice truck I think. I don't think it's real esthetic though. I'd like to see a 4x2 available too. The "trunk" in the bed and dual opening tailgate design are nice touches. That trunk is only possible because of the independent rear suspension - a first for a truck.
Of course the unibody frame isn't what I'd specify for a truck either. I suspect that the dealers will be charging a lot for these vehicles at first, but since we've got our $500 over cost deal negotiated with Napleton, those interested amongst us will be able to swing a pretty good deal versus the other people who go to buy one.
I would like to drive one to see how well it handles though. I just bought an F150 yesterday because it was such a good deal (nearly 30.5K negotiated down to 21.25K). Now all I need is a car trailer and I'll be able to bring the Honda (or one of my other cars) to the track without fear of breakdown - regardless of distance traveled to the track!
