2008 Track Days Invitation
Good Morning Fellow St. Louisans:
Just a quick note to invite any road course drivers out there to join MVP Track Time for track days in 2008 may be fun. You can find us at MVP Track Time. We are open to all makes of cars and convertibles that meet the rules. Although we encourage it, the S2000 does NOT need an extra roll bar to run our track events.
Our 2008 track days (so far) are as follows:
April 21 - Putnam Park (Near Indianapolis) [Tax Freedom Track Day]
May 9 - Summit Point (West Virgiania) [Private Corporate Event]
June 2 - Autobahn Country Club (Near Joliet, IL.)
August 18 - Autobahn Country Club
September 13 & 14 - Blackhawk Farms (Near Beloit, WI) [Our 1st Weekend Event]
Both Autobhan dates are once again the entire 3.56 mile road course. None of this namby-pamby 1/2 track stuff. We will be announcing at least one more track day or weekend for 2008 soon.
Registration with Pay Pal, credit card or via downloadable form (mail in check) is available at:
Track Day Registration
Happy Motoring and I'll see you at the track!

I've never been to Putnam but it's 3-4 hours away from here which means it's not too far away, and there is plenty of run off.
GIR (local) is a great small track which has only 7 turns (easy to remember when to turn left and right) but it's not very forgiving with half of it surrounded by walls.

No, we all drive our cars to the track. Keep in mind that I track my Honda Prelude and not my S2000 on a regular basis. I tracked my S2000 this past August since I was too lazy to change my wheels/tires on the Prelude at the track. Driving a RWD (vs FWD) was a completely different experience... I babied the S2000 around the track.

Oh I got ya. If you guys do not mind, and do compete, I would like to join you. I may or may not have the S. If I do not have the S I plan to purchase an older Miata to learn with.
