Anyone get to enjoy a drive today? I got rained on on the way home

Unfortunately, traffic was so heavy, the "go fast, less wet" trick didn't work too well.

Unbelievable!!

about 2 inches of hail in about 10 minutes!

These photos were taken about 4 hours after the hail stopped (and the rain continued):

Thunder - and rain up to the hood of a Honda Civic on a local residential street (according to my son who was happily driving the Jeep).

I parked the S for an hour under a garage in Creve Coere, waiting for the hail - but nothing happened there but buckets of rain...

This can stop right now!

HA!

JulieU - this is nothing compared to YOUR storm a few weeks ago. I was just whining . It appears the hail was extremely limited to our area. On the way home tonight, the roads were covered with melting hail only a few miles from my house. Everything in-between was just super wet.

I think you are confused. Thursday was when it was actually snowing. Friday the snow was just sitting there. I drove the S to work, only to find out work had been canceled (seriously though, if I can make it from South County to the airport in an S2000, who can't make it in to work?). So I drove back home with the top down.
