Default Battery advice

Hi Friends,
It's been a long time. I hope to be more active in the group this year. I did a search, but didn't find the information that I needed. I need a new battery for my 2001 S2000. What do you recommend? Thanks.
Dave

Hi Dave!

I figured you must sold your S! By now, it's definetly time to get a new battery for a MY01.

here's a few local posts on battery replacement choices:

I got the Duralast gold this winter in the MY02. The OEM battery is plenty fine. You have to admit, after 7 years in your car, it must be a good one.

Hi Ron, Mike, Doug and everyone,
Sell my S2000? NO WAY! I am quietly enjoying my car. Thank you for the advice on buying a battery. I was trying to decide whether to spend the extra money for a OEM battery from Honda at a high cost, or go to sears and spend about $40 less for their Diehard Gold. Usually, U get what you pay for, but in this case is that true?

Me too

It's a sweet battery. Proved out this year. Relaced last fall before storing car. Car sat for 3.5 months and to my surprise fired up the first time. That sold me on spending the few extra bucks

Because of the way you drive your car, that will work just fine.

I have a Odyssey 'race' battery... it works well during the summer but I keep it trickled charged during the winter and vice versa for my 'winter battery' (Duralast).
