Yes, we had three-crotch rockets decide to pass everyone on the road; they came inches from our bumper then sped past first chance they got, double yellow and a sharp turn and it was just way to crowed. They will kill someone yes.

Was in the beater truck a few years back when I was "parked" on HWY 40 in the Chesterfield Valley. Saw two crotch-rockets FLYING in-between cars at HIGH speed. Had I saw them in the mirror earlier, I might have opened the door. That would have caused a small mess.

Made trip to Chicago this weekend with the S, beautiful weekend for a trip but no hills or curves boring specially coming back it sure was a long trip. On the way back about mile marker 62 a crotch rocket passes me like I was standing still. There was a state trooper on the side just below a incline when crotch rocket appears over the incline, it was a perfect timing as the trooper starts his lights and the bike slows down. I waved but got no response.

Based on your description, sound like it was route 55 the entire way. What a crumming straight street to have to drive in the S

I can: I was driving home in the late afternoon downpour we had earlier this week... for ~5mins, the rain was torrential & I saw a flash of lightning hit a little close for comfort

I was ready to try top-down in the rain but, with scaredy-cat drivers in front of me on a go-slow because they'd never seen rain before, I couldn't drive fast enough to stay dry ... finally got to out-run the storm when I got on to the Paige extension and, even then, it was a mobile slalom as no-one had the cojones to do more than ~50mph... so I downshifted into VTEC & took off (j/k)

Hottest day of the year so far. 105 officially at the Lambert weather station, but I saw bank signs at 106 & 108 on the drive home.

TOP DOWN OF COURSE! my eyeballs actually felt a little cooked. I wonder if the 5 gallons of sweat in the driver's seat from this last week will hasten detiorioration or something...
