Default Crash!

Hi Guys,

Well a guy in a pick-up truck seemed to want to get a real close look at my rear bumper!!

Needless to say I am looking for a good body shop that will do a good job fixing her up. Probably will need a new plastic bumper and paint.

Anyone know of a good one??

Oh by the way the dude didn't have insurance

Thanks for the help
Joe

Greg's Car Care

Phone: (636) 329-9920

Talk to either Gregory or Greg Sr. They have done some work for my S2000 and thier work is top notch. They have done work also for some local STL celebrities.

Joe, Sorry to hear about the bumper.......bummer. Dudes without insurance .

Just got mine back from the body shop this a.m. They did a good job. I used Gittemeier's in St. Charles, but that's quite a ways from Washington. When I lived in WSLC, I always used Godat's, but more so for convenience....but no complaints that I can remember.

Make sure you use one that comes highly recommended, or you'll end up like me....the dude that had the car before me had the right front bummer repainted and they never took off the emblem, sidemarker, or headlight....taped and sprayed right over it .....but now it's fixed .

Good luck with getting it fixed. You've got plently of time be for the Hills Run.

Ron

rpstl: I've used Godat's before and no complaints there either. A little more pricey if I can remember correctly.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Parmetier's is excellent! They are next to the Mo Eagle beer distributor on 100 just past Bluff rd. I have also had some work done at ProBody Works in Union. Shawn has some work done there. ProBody seems to have alot of work with big powerboats from what I have heard. Look for me in the fair parade this sunday. I have been lucky enough to get to drive a couple of queen canidates!

I've used both Parmetier's and Greg's Car Care. Both do great work and come recommended.

Sorry to hear about your bumper. Owners without insurance . Surprised that there are so many.

WIll you be putting on an OEM bumper again or upgrading?

So, are we going to find some old melted tootsie rolls at the next detail day again?

Forgot about that

I needed a detail day yesterday, the car was filthy!
btw, the clicking in my right rear is gone...it was the spindle nut.

Thanks Guys!!

8Ball I will go with an OEM bumper i think. I am kicking around the carbon fiber replacement one though.

We'll get her fixed up. She isn't that bad but I hate ANY scratches or dents!!

Thanks again

Although carbon fiber would look sweet, I would opt against it for regular street use because cf is not repairable (or so I have heard).
