The Day that the Earth stood still
I'll bet that Egle has put nearly a 1000 miles on my S. Heck, when there's a trip to be taken, and the S will work for that trip, I tell her to go ahead and drive it.
Of course, there are risks in doing that too... I recently bought a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 to replace the "flying" SRT4 Neon (it was a GREAT deal for a winter car). Somehow, she managed to abrade the front bumper cover. I have no idea how - and neither does she.
Fortunately, I had put one of those clear plastic bras on the car before she started driving it. It's torn up, but I'll bet that the plastic film took the lions share of the damage. Don't know what it will cost to replace that film quite yet.
I'm instructing with the BMW club this weekend at Gateway, so it'll be interesting to see how the new car behaves. The brake pad guys let me down this week, so I'm going to be running OEM pads it looks like (Argh). On the S the OEM pads are pretty good, I have no idea if that same thing applies to the Mazda.
Oh, and for the record, Egle and I are now married. See you guys soon I hope.

For the record, Inge has now driven the S - no video (eyes tight shut) or audio (other than screaming)

Who was the one screaming
