Thanks everyone. Glad you all had a good time. We ended up driving around 260 miles so it was a decent drive. With the exceptions of some slow goers for a few miles, the roads were pretty open considering it was Memorial Day weekend.

We also had good weather. A little hot and humid while we were still, but as soon as the wind got to blow through our hair, it was almost perfect. Top of my arms are a little red today. Did not take a single picture, so for those of you that did... Get them up now!!!

EDIT: Oh - one more thing... I've got a couple of day runs coming together to head south and back. Keep an eye out for a new thread - There was also mention to do this monthly. Believe it or not...It does take a lot of time to plan and organize these short events. I'm good with doing this monthly and will need volunteers to lead future runs to make this happen - Ryan... You want to be next

 

ill talk to mel to see what would work best for us in our schedule. i know we have 5 weddings plus vacation this year. IF we end up doing it, it will have to be on a sunday morning/afternoon. ill talk to her and plan out some tenative roads. i would like to of course drive a couple of routes first and figure out a lunch deal too.

 

My buddy Ryan and I had a blast on this event. I got some pics but I know Ryan got some way better ones so I will post up. Car is acting a little funny now but other than that what an awesome weekend!
