As I have been filtering through the forum...seems like a few people are heading to Indy in a couple weeks. I'm going to make an effort to go and check it out...should be pretty awesome.

We have gone every year. It may be too late to get a parking permit (Free) to park in the car corral which is located on the backside straight of the Indy Track. If you are sitting on the infield mounds this parking spot is awesome since you get out much quicker and miss all the traffic. We had almost 20 S's last year. Call the USGP Tix Office for the parking pass. The S2KCA CLub is also having a cookout on Friday and Sat. Check their site for details. We're leaving on Wed. PM me if any of you want to do a mini cruise.

Yep, like Frank said, I'll be out there for my 3rd consecutive year. Good luck getting pictures with the drivers though. F1 makes it pretty damn hard (unlike Champ Car).

Race day will be crazy. I'm not going to try to meet anybody on Sunday.

I'll be there from Thursday to Sunday and I think some of the STLPC people are going to try to meet up.

Nope, I'm not taking my car down there.

And no, more than likely you won't be able to take pictures with the drivers... unless they aren't F1 drivers.
