Gateway Members… Below is our first attempt at pulling together the 2012 Event Calendar. Large events such as BMT have also been added. Stefanina’s/Bill has been kind enough to keep the third Thursday of every month open for our group in 2012 with one exception in May– Thanks Bill!

I would like to see some additional monthly activity suggestions, such as day runs & lunch somewhere and would appreciate a volunteer to pull it together. Some recommendations that have already been made are Brewery visits in KC-Let's pick a day/time and just do it!. If you would like to pull any type of gathing together imprompto or planned. Just post up in our forum.

Going to try something new for 2012 and leave the calendar thread open for comments. Thanks to those that took an event for 2012 at Stefanina's. Others have shown interest in organizing an event or two not yet listed. This group is pretty much open to anything. We're looking to get more activities such as Day Runs, Track Days, Picnics, and Photo Shoots on the calendar.

I've got about 30 different routes already mapped and would be more than willing to share.

So let's hear your ideas and comments.

Is anyone interested in meeting for any SCCA autocross events? There's autocross events at the Family Arena lot and Gateway. I've never been but it looks like fun. SCCA Autocross Calender

 

We do have a PDX event noted for August 18th above:
The event is a Performance Driving Experemce (PDX) run by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), St. Louis Region. The PDX will be held at Gateway Race Track in IL on August 18,2012. This is am all day PDX starting at 8AM and will end around 5PM. There are 4 other 1/2 day PDX's scheduled starting on May 16th, that start around 2PM and end at sundown

 

Oh, my bad I didn't notice that one. However I'm still interested in any other SCCA events, especially the ones at Family Arena, if anyone wants to join.

 

finally out of hibernation. i think i will be attending the detail day march 10! havent seen anyone in a long time.

 

Planning to make the 3/10 detail day. Wash and oil/filter change only. 6175 miles now. Only drove 1800miles in 2011, but had a lot of fun. Still tucked in. Will have to awaken the baby. Wish I could make more of the monthly pizza nights. 3rd Thursday has many conflicts for me. wish it were another night. Disappointed I missed the Christmas party....already had Symphony tickets.

Met S owner (Chris) from Wildwood.....original owner of yellow '03. Invited him to check out the Forum and join, and come to Detail Day.

Don't see why I won't be able to make the 3/10 detail/install day. I have a bad swirl mark issue from the previous owner.

 

I have a pretty good portable steam cleaner I can bring too, if anyone wants to freshen up their carpet or mats.
