Hello all. I can unfortunately confirm that softball and grapefruit size hail goes right through the soft top.
Not a pretty site!
Met with adjuster today and he stopped adding up the damage when we exceeded $14,000.
The S2k is a total loss. Unfortunately I think it's for the best. I hate to think what it would have looked like after repair attempts were made.

A couple guys in Oklahoma City had some pretty extensive hail damage to their S2000s a couple of years ago. Both were repaired. 
One even went for a complete color change (Silverstone to Moon Rock 
).
