Hi, my name is Shawn and I'm from the St. Louis area. I just bought a 2002 S2k last friday. It's Spa Yellow and has 15000 miles on it now, it only had 14,400 when I bought it. So far, it fits me perfectly. I traded in a PT Cruiser for it because that didn't fit me anymore. I miss it but I'm glad I traded. Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and I hope to meet some of you soon so we can go driving.

No real plans to mod it. I like it they way it is, which is odd for me. I do plan on getting a different shift knob, thinking about a VooDoo, but not sure about what size. I might get different floor mats, ones that cover the whole passenger side floor. Probably a bigger wind screen in the back. Nothing performance oriented though. It does have the factory trunk spoiler on it, it came with it and it looks good.

St. Clair isn't a big town, so I'm just in St. Clair. It's about 50 miles from St. Louis on I-44. I do go to Manchester and St. Charles often though, so I'm around.

Nice to meet you Shawn, Im down in your area alot, I do some work in the Washington/Union area. One of my good friends also owns the mexican restarant by the St. Clair exit above the pawn shop. We should meet some time, there are some great backroads in your area for a nice S drive.

 

Damn. We're cool. With this warm weather I'm going to have to organize something real soon!

Karp, I believe I've seen your S2K in Washington before. I've been to the resturant before, it's a nice place but Mexican food usually gets to me. Yeah, I know about the roads around here, already been on some. I know of some nice routes around my area cause I like to drive a lot. I'm usually free most of the time so if you want to meet sometime, just let me know.

tapout2000, they say it's going to rain Wed, Thurs, and Fri; but this weekend it is suppose to be dry, albeit chilly.

I'm waxing my S2K currently, should be done around 3 am. So far, it looks real good.
