Default Hello and question about 06 Berlina Black AP2

Hi all,

First post here. I recently bought my first S2000 from Copart and will be rebuilding it over the winter. It's pretty well stripped down at this point, but hopefully I'll have some pics to share at some point. Question is, does anyone know anyone who wrecked an 06 black model in late December 2018? It was titled in MO, and I'm pretty sure it was owned locally. If possible, I'd like to ask the previous owner some questions about the car and what the shop that was working on it was up to, so I don't miss anything when I'm putting everything back together. Also, hopefully there'll be a meet up at some point soon. I'd be interested in meeting some local owners.

With the VIN, a service manager at a dealer might be able to look up information on work performed at a dealer.

With the VIN you can get much information via MyCarFax.com It's a free site and most cars I've checked have dealer service information. Names of dealers, now owners. Just put the car in your "garage" and see what comes up. You can also check via license number.

Sounds good, thanks for the replies. I'll check out Mycarfax.com. Unfortunately, I don't have anything other than the VIN to go on. It's not a huge deal if I don't get the info I need anyway. I'll basically be going through the entire car regardless.

Thanks for the invite, Pete. I'll see you for sure at the next meeting, which looks like next week. My name is Andy, btw.

MyCarFax will provide basic service history for the car based on VIN or license. Sometime the plate is visible in photos and in that case you don't need the VIN. Assuming the plate belongs on the car. Sometimes these plates belong to a different car.
