Default Help with the Burgundy Bomber

I need to replace the inner tie rod on my Camry. Does anyone know how to do it? I have a good idea as my buddy and I attempted to do it this weekend when he was in town but we didn't have the right tool and no place had the correct one to rent. So i'm just wondering if anyone has that correct tool and would anyone be willing to help me out? The car would need to be worked on at my house because it is just put together right now good enough to have weight on the wheel. I also don't want to work in 15 degree weather it's going to be 50 on Sat and 62 on Sun if anyone has any time and wants to attempt this feat with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mike I appreciate it as well. I will give you all a call. Sat is good for everyone? And if so what would be a decent time frame?

Check auto zone, they should have the ball puller/splitter (no pun intended).

i've got the one from autozone and it needs a different socket on the end as the one it came with was to big... I think O Reillys has it, but it was already rented out the night we were trying to get it done... I"m going to be checking everyday in hopes to pick it up. I also have a buddy who has a friend who is a mechanic he is going to see if he can get it for me to use..

I really do not know. It depends what time I look at the truck.

Mike you still in for tomorrow? I've been searching for that tie rod tool now for a couple days around here. No luck yet, there is a couple more places I am going to hit up and I need to get some air in the front tire as it has gone flat on me. I would still appreciate any help as long as I can get the tool to get it done. I don't think it should take to long.
