Well, I know I shouldn't have done it, but I put my name in on the "buyer" list for the soon to be completed Comptech Supercharger GB.

I'll do the SC first and then think about the AC later on, if at all. I'm thinking that a creative use of NO2 might serve the same purpose equally nicely. Of course, now I'll likely be in the market for a new clutch too...

Yea... You should have done it... Congrats... Have not yet had the cash to do this myself. Looks like a good reason to have an install day in the next few months.

They lightened my wallet by $3950 for the SC today. Looks like they are setup for an immediate shipment to me (probably a drop ship), so the package should be awaiting install soon enough.

Damn, and I had vacation scheduled for next week! Now it'll be almost impossible to keep me out of the garage and working on the Honda instead of doing all that house and other type work that I need to be doing instead!

Holler if you want/need an extra pair of hands. I'm only 10 minutes away.

Sounds like a good setup! I guess you will be the second to be supercharged in the STL area (that I know of) next to me. I will be getting my car tomorrow! I can't wait!

The Fedex Ground guys deposited my $4350 supercharger box on my doorstep this week and then drove off! I come home expecting to find a tag on the door and instead find that any of the neighbor kids could have made an easy score in my absence...

I was surprised at how heavy the blower is really. I haven't measured it, but it sure feels heavy. On the upside, the casting is polished and makes the whole thing look pretty good. I know that the Vortec units require an extra bit of cash for a polished unit.

I have some time off from work next week, so I suppose I'll get the install done starting Wednesday. It'll be nice to see a little bit more jump in the Honda's step! Now if I can just stay away from running the car in One Lap...

The strut tops came too, so I'm going to assemble up the second set of strut assemblies with the Eibach Pro kit springs installed and see what happens. I still can't install the new rims though because I don't have any appropriate lug nuts. I keep meaning to buy them, but haven't done that yet.

My gauges for the pilar pod arrived today, so I should have what I need to install the Oil Pressure and Boost gauges on the pod when I get a chance too. I need more time damnit!!!

It's beginning to look like Christmas (At Greg's)

Can't wait to see the new set-up. If you need a hand, give a hollar!

Haven't done squat. My parents were in town for last weekend's Jaguar show and we spent the better part of a day cleaning the Jag for the show - instead of working on the Honda. Oh well.

With any luck, I'll get the fuel pump changed over this weekend at least. That seems to be the most challenging portion of the job. The rest of it is pretty much just wrenching.

We'll have to see if my oil pressure gauge setup works too. I'll probably assemble the pilar gauge pod before installation and string the wires/hoses in advance of installation. I like gauges...

BTW, the new wheels and tires are on the car. Definitely looks different!

Wow, did this take a long time to come around...

Everything is in now (less the ESM module) and ready for final torque checks and a last pass through the instructions for potential issues. I suppose that I could light the wick right now since the ESM will only make a difference under boost. Now if it would just stop raining for a while I could get out and have some fun...

I installed an oil pressure sending unit during the installation too, so we'll have to see how that works. I didn't have the parts that I needed on hand to do the boost gauge install, so I guess I have to make a trip to the parts store still. I think I'm going to get some molex connectors for the pilar pod too so that the thing can be R&R'd easily. Guess we'll see what we see at the fluid changout Sunday.
