I havn't detailed the car yet, and would like to change out the tranny fluid and flush the coolant(BTW bought my coolant and MTF at Huey's with discount!)and it looks like Kieth wants to get some stuff done on his gpw.

I'd be up for it. It will have been a whole week between washes for me by then, so I'll be due.

I also realy want 8Ball to show us that process he used to get his paint looking so good!

Again, who is this Kieth guy?!

My detailing job will take an entire day/afternoon so I'll probably do that at a buddy's place. Plus I have to order some more detailing products. I wouldn't mind doing some S2K mechanical work if anybody needs a hand or two... .

I was just at Huey's today picking up my floor mat anchors. Too bad they don't have the new MTF still .

Both will work fine. If you bought the original, it will be OK. Worked fine for most S2K drivers for the past 6 years. Have not tried the new MTF so am unable to give feedback

Just as Kieth ( sorry, I had to) my exterior detail process takes most of the day. You can do multiple cars in a single day with an "Assembly Line" approach.

Steps:
* Wash car including focus on Roof, Windows, Leather, Carpet/Matts, Wheels, Tires
* Clay Bar car, polish plastic window if applicable
* Apply & Remove Polish
* Apply & Remove Wax
* Apply & Remove Clear Coat/FMJ
* Detail cracks and crevis where residue wax remains

I myself dont need this, but would not mind a wash. I also want to tint my rear window. Already have the supplies and template cut. Just need to apply which takes about 15 minutes. If anyone else has a plastic rear, we can probably do a few.

Does everyone have their detailing supplies?

Who is sponsoring this event? Sponsors in the past supply garage (preferably 2/3), most of the tools and a hot lunch (burgers/brats), unless you are at jimmyj for a six course meal

What time are we doing this? I refer the earlier the better. by 9:00 at the latest.

A tranny and colant flush are pretty esay and can be done in a matter of minutes. However, it requires different tools and such.

Actually, I need to get my rear plastic window cleaned up... it's hazy... I wouldn't mind coming out to watch to see what's involved in getting it crystal clear again.

Apparently my car needs cleaning I don't see it myself - once a year, Honda sponsored @ service time was always enough before

I'd be in for a detailing day on Sunday - I can't 'sponsor' the event tho', but would be happy to chip in for brats/beers/etc...
