I don't know how long they've been on. I just bought the car in June. I drive fairly hard, but I spare the brakes quite a bit. I live in a rural area and I don't drive stupid in town, so the brakes aren't used too hard.

im sure your rotor's don't need to be turned. Just take the tire off and look at the inner/outer pad

Great... The list is building nicely. Make sure you order your fluid now so they arrive on time.

Other than turning the rotors, I think we can get everything else accomplished within a few hours.

Care to take a drive afterwards? Maybe hit a winery?

Think all I'm looking to do is an oil change this time around....unless I get bored and start surfing the net for something to buy. Was going to do it this weekend, but not putting that many miles on the car between now and then. Don't know that I'll make it for the ride afterwards, have to go to Denver later that afternoon.....second time this month I have to leave on a Sunday. Was considering taking the head unit out and connecting the a.m. antenna we missed, but just can't ever see me listening to a.m. while I'm in the car, maybe another day.

Let's do this as it will only take a few minutes. Connecting the antena will also improve your FM signal. I will be checking mine as well as I have been noticing a lot of static lately.

Scratch the gauge on my list. I am thinking about replacing my oil bolts to the 4 hole updated ones. It involves dropping the oil pan and resealing it.. Think we will have enough time or shoudl I take care of it on a lift next month?

Yup... Bring it... If we have enough time, we'll get it done.

TTT

Less than two weeks away. Looks like we have a pretty good list going. Nothing to do on my car this time around, so I will be a spare set of hands.

Make sure you get you have ordered your fluids so they get here on time. Also.. .If you are doing something special, see if you can find some instructions, print them and bring them. I will have a laptop available in the garage for reference if needed.

If anyone is interested, I am thinking of ordering LE8130 motor oil by Lubrication Engineers. You can only order it by the case. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM or reply. I think its about 6 bucks a quart.

I just found an online resource that sells LE8130. I am going to order some from them (probably) and let you guys know if they are cool or not.
