Default Lawyer?

To sum it up....this is what Greg posted on stlsrt forums today.....

"Was on 70 last night with 2 friends, one in a V6 Mustang and the other in an 01 S2000. We pulled up on either side of our buddy in the Stang. We were all cruising at 60 mph and the S2K and I took off. He dropped it into 3rd, the exhaust note coming from my buddies car sounded great, he just got an HKS exhaust system, only other mod is a Fujita CAI. It sounded great, especially when he hit VTEC. We do this race a lot and I usually just drop it to 4th, but that hasn't really been getting me anywhere, so I tried it in 3rd this time and I was gone.

Oh yeah, anybody know a good lawyer who can fix a ticket? We both got 87's in a 60. It was a state trooper also.

Thanks"

So who wants to help us out? Oh yea, something he didnt mention, the cop just left because he said that he had an emergency and the tickets were going to be sent in the mail. We have no paperwork, dont even know the cops name. Suggestions?

Dan Knack is where I take mine when I get them. He has a very low office fee $40. Most everywhere else is $80 or more. He does a good job getting them amended.

I have not been pulled over in over 5 years now so not sure if the office fee is more/less. He makes all his money on referals and every kid in highschool knew about him...

He is located off of 5th street...past the casino on the left had side. Look him up...

doh! that sux.

I know you can "fix tickets", but it just seems wrong. My son used Karl Lemp with good results:

No atty fee's, you pay the fine, probably gonna be about $250 to $300 with no pts on lic. taken from experience, you buy a round on a thursday meet, call me, just for club people not the world.

Got a friend who went to court himself - the cop did not show so it was a fairly easy arguement to the judge. Just paid the court fees and fine.

Good Luck - and sounds like P5744D may get a few calls soon!!

Rules of street racing

1) Don't lose
2) Don't get caught

Sounds like you've got good advice on the tickets. Don't forget there are a number of guys here that'll help you enjoy the car on the track too ... might save you future run-ins with the law.
