Hmmm, drove to work this morning in the S. Planning on sticking it out here a bit longer. I figure that way everyone will already be in the ditch and off the road and out of my way.

Snow volume was wide spread in a 30 mile radius. Some places got 2" where others got 12", I would venture to say that there was about 4"+/- in my drive.

In d-j's case, it look like he was on the 12" side moreso

Barely had an inch at the house. I was downtown and would say we had over 12 inches. It took 3 hrs to go 40 miles

What a crappy drive home.

Took me 1 1/2 hours to drive about 4 miles out from work. Once I got to Page, everything was better. Only took 1/2 hour from there (2 hours total). On a good day, my drive is 30 minutes.

There must have been 3 dozen cars stuck/crashed/disabled/abandoned on the way home. Semi trucks were spinning. A city bus had some problem which caused me to sit at a stop light through 8 cycles (I couldn't see what the cause was). I almost went into someone's front yard on Schuetz - that was exciting. The two (a car & a truck) in front of me had already 'fell' over. The car was actually high centered! - they'll be there till tomorrow for sure in the ditch-like edge of the road.

On the positive side - my neighborhood of O' Fallon, MO has about 2-3 inches of snow. The roads are essentially clear.

Drive safe.

Not much trouble getting home - like Ron said: once we got onto 364/Page then 94 it was easy ... biggest issue was digging the car out of the parking lot at work after they ploughed it & left a mound of snow behind all the parked cars

1/2 hr from Creve Coeur to home (did overtake quite a few tho' )

Just got home a little while ago (made decent time, no dead stops). No problem with my car out there.

For all the nice people that decided to try and drive today in their SUVs/trucks/cars without having the right equipment or experience: GET THE -expletive- OUT OF MY WAY!

And not just my way, how about getting out of the way of the ambulance, you jackasses that decide to drive 20mph in the fast lane of a clear highway? Or maybe I should block the ambulance when it comes for you next time?

Thanks For all those this did not apply to, sorry for wasting your time
