has anyone ever confused your car for a miata? people have mistaken the s for them before and i get soooo pissed. how about you guys? lol

just thought i would start a topic cause im bored at work. haha

 

Some of my friends do. There are some of them that thinks it's a BMW or a porsche also. But I do hate it when people mistaken my car for a miata.

 

oh yea. i love when you get the people that think its a porshce. i get that a lot like at the gas sation lol.

I've been called both before and I've also owned both too. I see how it may upset you to be called a miata but we owe a lot of thanks to the miata for helping create and mold a new generation of "two seat roadster" enthusiasts.

I'd be much more upset if someone called my S a Solstice or a Sky.

Oh yes - that has happened to me... however I get more "WOW! What kind of car is that?" to make up for it.

My personal favorite though - driving through a parking lot with my top down at a rams game I overheard a group of people staring at my car.....

Guy1: "Wow look at that car... what is that?"

Guy2: "I think it's a Lotus."

Guy2: "Yeah its a lotus!"
