I'm posting this on behalf of a new member to our group whom i recently met. His name's daniel and he lives out in the wentzville area. I asked him to join our group and he texted me today saying that he is unable to post or pm anyone.

Anyone know whats going on?

I think hes still able to browse all our posts so he'll probably be reading this and would like to join us at our next detail day and upcoming events.

 

That user name doesn't show up in a search (yet)

I can't remember whether there's an e-mail sent out to activate a new account/user name...

When did they sign up? There should be a whole FAQ on steps to join - if it has already been a few days, maybe ping one of the admins

 

Takes about 24 hours to activate membership. If just a "guest" then User ID function should be immediate. What is or is not happening when her tries to post???

Yeah, he should receive a validation e-mail. If he doesn't see it in his inbox, he might wanna check his spam folder for it. Otherwise, click the "Resend validation email" link at the upper right hand corner of the page.
