Fedx just delivered my new trunk spoiler , anything I need to know before I install it? I have read xviper's installation thread so that will help.

xviper's thread is "ALL"you need. Put mine on 6mo. ago! Really easy. Just wax (Zaino ) well, before the install. Graduate bit sizes ^ I went just a little larger than xviper recommended for the final hole. Seemed to make it a little easier to install the screws. GOOD LUCK! You will love-it!!

Hondasport-

Cannot wait to see your new install! FYI, insurance opinion appears to be negative about "upgrades" ... not recomended. Sigh.

Looter-
Thats what I was thinking.
rhile-
That's a shame they are taking that attitude, what would happen if they were on the car when it was purchased new ie all the new s2000 at Napleton have spoilers front and back and side strakes installed now , would those be considered upgrades?

Spoilers and strakes are "not part of the NADA checklist" and are not considered as "parts required to drive the car".

My attitude is very negative right now. Sorry I hope you have a good insurance agent AND NEVER NEED TO USE THEM!

My next Honda S2K will be tricked, completely, but slowly.

In the meantime, I'll be the driver everyone honks at for going too slow in the fast lane (HAHA!)

Adding OEM extras to your car shouldn't do anything to your insurance. If you do add aftermarket stuff to your car, the thing you should do is take your reciept for it to your insurance company and tell your agent about it. Depending on what it is and how much it cost, they will add it to your policy. Now that may make your policy increase. I would recommend doing that if you have a reallly nice stereo or wheels or pretty much anything that you would want covered by your insurance. If you add a supercharger or turbo to your car, I would deffinately go talk to your agent about it. I had a friend put a supercharger on his car and he got into an accident and insurance saw the SC and wouldn't cover his claim since he had modified the car beyond OE specs without notifying them about it.
