Question Oil Cap - Quick Question...

I put a replacement oil cap on the S on Install Day but didn't look at it too closely beforehand ... the other day I took it off to try it on the Fit & noticed the thread lead-in was missing / ground down / broken see circled in pic:

Does anyone know: is this just part of the manufacturing process to remove the sharp thread lead, or should I be worried that something has broken off (& fallen in the engine)?

OK, it sounds like a dumb question but I figure the dumbest question is the one not asked ... especially if it might wreck the engine

Where did you get it. Can you go back and take a look at another one?
