Finalized the route this evening. Should be a fun ride.

Around 240 mile round trip. If interest is there, we can stop in Washington State Park to snap some pictures on the way home after lunch.

Lunch will be at the Catfish Kettle restaurant.

We are going to be meeting at the park and ride at 94 & 40 West/KC side at 8:30 on the 10th. Leave no later than 9:00 which should get us into Farmington around 12:00. Targetting to get home by 4:00

Thanks 8BALL! Washington State Park has the Indian rock carvings, or petroglyphs, that were made around A.D. 1,000 -- a cool attraction if anyone is up for a walk. Then there's the Big River. FYI - the Catfish Kettle takes plastic, but has no dedicated website.

Don't forget your camera! And maybe a 2-way radio.

Unfortunatley, the Weather outlook is grim for Sunday (as of today). There is a 40% chance of rain. If it is raining Sunday morning, this event will be rescheduled to another time.

Check this thread before leaving to the meeting place to make sure that this event is still on.

I've tried the "quick post/fast reply" method to this thread twice that resulted in the site page hanging

Based on the conditions of my rear tires, rain could be a problem for me...

40% chance of rain/thunderstorms starts around 10 am for all of the route planned. Even though we need the rain, I hope it's dry!

I would like to do this, but not if it's going to rain. I spent the last couple days cleaning the car up and doing a full wax on it. I had been neglecting it a bit but it looks great now, at least it looks good inside, I haven't had it outside in 3 days.

S2K_Shawn!
Just bring an umbrella, that will keep it from raining!
