Default One down, two to go...

Okay, so the battery problem was addresses and now I'm onto the next of two problems that are increasingly difficult and expensive.

So, after my accident last year, I had gotten her all fixed by Huey's Honda. They failed to see the engine mount was totally ripped out on the right side. Well, I pointed it out to them and they said it had been too long to get it fixed under the insurance and I had to fix it myself.

Where do I get a right side engine mount in St. Louis , how is easy is it to do it myself, and how much does it cost.

Second problem, my convertible top has been subject to so much vandalism, I can't keep doing nickel and dime repairs, because the damn thing is turning into swiss cheese...

What's a good price on a new top, with a glass window? Who in St. Louis will install it for cheap, and would it be better to do it myself?

WHEW! One I get all this stuff taken care of, I'll be actually throwing down money for UPGRADES like the rest of you guys... Except my dad want's to put on a CAI right now... YES!

That SUX about your top. Do you regularly park in public lots?

here's a recent link about top replacement link
and another link2

I'll bet you can order the engine mount from a Honda dealer -- if you're lucky, someone could offer you an hour with their cherry picker (otherwise you can pick up a 2-ton model from Cummins @ $160). I have no clue how easy/hard this job would be.

I don't park in public places much since I don't drive her that much, but I think some unsavory people like to mess with my car at school. I don't even have a clue who they are... It's at random...

I think I might be able to help with that motor mount. It should only take an hour or two to do the job as long as nothing is broken.

Well, funny you should mention that Rehile, I thought of an invention a while back for just such an occasion. What I propose is a system that charges the metal skeleton of the softop with 50,000 volts of electricity once the car has been locked via the remote. As soon as anything comes in contact with the top it will be burned severely from the inside out.

Don't the headlights on the s use a high voltage inverter? looks like we might have something brewing here.
