Red face One last Day Run

I'm planning on putting my car up for the winter this weekend and want to go on another short run and take a look at the last of the fall leaves.

Saturday is suppose to be clear skies and a high of 67.

Anyone interested in joining me Saturday morning? Looking for recommendations on a place (other than Hermann) to have lunch that will also give us a fun run.

I was thinking about this one (double click several times to enlarge image)

Interested.
I believe we take the green route down and the blue route back it's a very nice run, we have eaten in Potosi each time (remember once at Sonic, yuc) anyway not much there, and we usually get there early for lunch I'd be more interested in packing Subway or Jimmy John, sandwiches (picked up the night before) a bag of chip and beverages of your choosing, and eat were we usually take pictures anyway at Washington State Park, not far down the road from Potosi. We'll get to the Park at about lunch time eat out on a pretty day, and not have to worry about some place to find to eat or yuc or park, keeps it simple. And it doesn't matter if there are 3 cars or 12 cars.

I third that - Great idea Dan and John (even though it was probably the wives that though of it )

Everybody bring your own lunch - We eat at the park.

It's about a 100 miles to the Park, maybe 130 if we take a slight windy and twisty detour. About another 70 miles home from there. So... lets plan for 2 hours down, 1 hour back +/- and an hour at the Park..

So...

Meeting Place: 94 & 40 Park & Ride - west side of 94 (usual spot)
Date: Sat 10/30
Time: 9:45 - We leave at 10:00
Target be home time: 2:00

I say postpone your car's hibernation for one more week and go to the BMT! SmagsS2k, Su2uKa, jimmij, mpetus, ntenseone, EagleDon are all going... and I'll be there!! humbles2k is even going! Janet&Travis and Dirtybird might be there, too. Come on! You know you wanna!!

This is what one of the previous BMT routes looked like!
