I'm buying the amuse style lip from team spugen, I think they look better IMO. There was a guy with a Spa yellow one selling his used not that long ago on the forums in the selling forum

thanks for the tip! i like that amuse lip, but it appears to lower the front end a bit lower than the oem lip, i am trying to keep atleast a few good inches of ground clearance.

Do you or anyone else know how much clearance a stock 01' s2k has with the oem lip versus the amuse or even a veilside?

Just measured mine. With the OEM lip, you will have 5 1/2 " clearance. You will rub if:

* try to park to close to a concrete "wheel" stop in poarking spots
* Do not enter steep driveways at an angle
* Do not slow at speed bumps

Any mods, such as after market spring or wheels, could make it worse

thanks ALOT Mike! I do plan on adding wheels but not for a while, I think I am gonna pick up the OEM lip.
