Update from the weekend -

Son, Eric, was certified for scuba diving - but came home with a burst eardrum. The emergency room (St Joe in Lake St Louis) on Sunday is VERY FAST (in case anyone needs to know). Cannot get his ear wet until it's healed. We all hope it heals before our trip to the beach this summer.

Does anyone in the Gateway community scuba dive?

 

Bummer Ron. Hope he gets better soon. Everyone in my room at the frat house got certified while I was in college - except me for some reason...

I've been knee deep into the WRX getting ready for OLOA lately. The S was on the schedule, but I need a trailer to take that car and I don't have one. The burning oil smell problem had me worried too. I replaced the problem oil line with a stainless steel braided line and all has been AOK ever since though.

I took the hard top off once I knew that it would not be going on OLOA. Since then I've been enjoying the top down fun! Now if I can just get those window tint tools back to Mike... The WRX windows are done now, I just need to do the F150. That should happen this weekend.

Did you re-install your soft top? Is that pretty involved?

 

Another day of nearly no chatter. It's really cold today, what is going on with you all?

Yes, it is very quiet. I took the S for a ride today. Top up, unfortunately... a little to cold and windy for me.

 

It has been cold this weekend, good opportunity to work around the house. Very seldom I drive the S with top up. But had to do it today, the horses needed a stretch. For some reason it was fish tailing today, it must be the driver.

 

heh heh. Got to watch for those rain slick spots. Careful out there!

 

The chatterbox is back!!!..

Hey everyone... Just got back late last night. Left perfect weather for this crap!... s2kjr made me so envious of his mods, I started working on my rears at 1:00 last night. Want to get these babies on before the run. Will do some fiberglassing and am hoping to get her in the shop next week.
