Sat.
Noon-2:00 Check into Pear Tree hotel - Are we sure Mike's Off-Road Adventures will get us there by 2pm? 2am maybe
2:00-3:00 Meet/greet clean cars - will need at last an hour (see above)
3:00-5:30 Scenic drive, photos, & return for freshen-up
6:30 Walk from Hotel to KC Masterpiece BBQ - KC Masterpiece*?? Fiorellas on Metcalf is MUCH better & only a short drive up the road I can get my fix of burnt ends then
After dinner Dick Clark's for drink & dance - American Bandstand & play grab-a-gran Do you guys know McBride's? My GF is gagging for a Strongbow, & that's one of the few places that has it on draft - trust me: it's worth it

Sun.
9:30 Kansas Speedway & car clinic presentation by Tim Heron (local Honda/s2k/national autocross guru)

Possible activities: Lawrence for Dunkin' Donuts

Cool 'agenda' - thanks for putting this together.

* We had a bad experience there - it is convenient to the hotel, & Dick's, but I reckon there's better..

U speak - we listen! Fiorella's it is. Yes I agree, it is the best BBQ on the planet. I have made the arrangments to have it catered to the Hotel (cost less that eating it there + no hassle parking). The cost will be around $14/ person (does not include drinks-BYOB). We get beef, Turkey, Ribs or burnt ends, slaw, potato salad & the best beans u have ever eaten . Talked to the Hotel manager and he is with us having it catered. We will use the front lobby/Brkfst area which seats around 45.

As for McBrides? Go for it! After dinner everyone will be on their own. Don't want to sound like a preacher but please be careful if u drink then drive! I was just trying to stay away from the driving/parking hassles.
