First post:

Does anyone have anywhere local/thorough/trustworthy (dealership or not) who they take their S2000 to to get it checked out/worked on? I'm in the beginning process of purchasing an '06 w/ 16k miles on it and, I know it's low-mileage and a Honda, but for my piece of mind, I'd like to have someone who knows a lot about these cars (not me exactly) to give it a once over before I fully commit. Any suggestions?

Barrett... We have quite a few in our group who I would trust to evaluate the car moreso that a dealership. Where is the car currently located?

If you do prefer to take it to a Honda dealership, Ed Napleton in St. Charles does sponsor our group and will give it the once over for a cost. Any of our members will probably do more just for a . This was a once-over I did for someone picking up their car from Vegas last month.

 

Thanks for the info! I have seen/driven the car (yesterday) and it seems to be in pretty much perfect condition (the owner wasn't the most knowledgeable "car-guy" in the world though, but he definitely took care of his vehicle). It's located in Chesterfield. I'll probably take it to Napleton sometime this week. I can't imagine there's anything wrong with it w/ only 16,000 miles...
