Thumbs up In the spring, start it up and let it idle...

Is there a way or a need to build up the oil pressure before firing the engine up? I was thinking of pulling plug leads or even plugs, but both seem like an effort...

The car has been standing for ~2 1/2 mths, & now has a freshly charged battery - do I just push the red button, or is there anything else to do first?

Thanks

Clean the cob webs out of the engine bay first. I just started mine up yesterday and everything was fine.

No... You need not do anything to build pressure. However, there are a few steps you should follow.

1) Start the Car
2) Let run for at LEAST 30 minutes before driving. This will lube everything really well and get the oil moving
3) Drive car at or below 4K for about 10 miles. DO NOT VTEC yest
4) After that... Have fun!

Wouldn't it be easier (and more fun) to just drive it every day?
