super charged
how much power do you gain when you supercharge your s2000 and how fast is it in 1/4. i wanted to do it at one time then they said 7k and i said na is the way to go
na is fine if you like to go slow... J/K!
7k is crazy though! Used kits can be had for around 3500 or so. I picked mine up used for 3k and then bought a brand new aftercooler. I had initial problems and got beyond frustrated. Turns out my problem was a bad MAP sensor the whole time. Fixed that and ran the stock boost for about a week. Currently, I am running 440cc injectors, ultimate emanage, and the tech2 7lb pulley (I'm showing 8.1psi in the colder weather). My injectors are maxed out right now from 8300-9000 so I'm either going to buy 550's or an AEM FPR.
I plan to have it retuned on the 22nd. I made between 302-307 on the dyno running but that is without adjusting the timing and very rich (injectors maxed out). I would guess I will be around 315 or so with a good tune and good fuel pressure.
If you buy a kit, don't pay lightspeed or some crazy shop to install it.

good that where i went at first was to light speed for all my parts but then they messed my car up but i got it fix from honda i dont think im going to go there anymore. is it hard to install a super charger can someone help me im new to all this
Well it depends on your abilitly to read directions. I wouldn't say any part of the install is really "hard" The most difficult part is finding someone that can fit underneath the steering wheel to solder in the ESM box... However, during my 1000 install/unistalls of it we found a much easier way to do this. I would say that a few of us could knock it out in a day.
Ya I'll lend a hand. Your car will run good as long as you don't mess with it too much. Plenty of guys have logged 10's of thousands of blown miles without problems. The only thing that I think is essential before beating on the car is to have it on a wideband to check your a/f. I know of 3 FI s2000's in the st. louis area and I think I'm the only one who has had problems.
