Unfortunatley, you can't just get the window replaced easily. The entire top must come off for a new plastic window to be sewn in. If you go to that extent, you may want to think about doing the window conversion to glass. It will only be a couple of $100 more. Many threads available here in s2ki about the window conversion.

Great price... Just remember that this is cost for parts only. Does not include labor. You can do this yourself in two solid weekend days. There are some nice DYI's out there. If you source out the work, it will cost between $600 - $800 more

If you consider switching to glass, don't forget to wire the defroster. Here's a link to the kit needed.

Hehehe, no hard top, guys. Glass top is impossible, as I am a starving college student. Soooo, I'll just replace the vinyl with vinyl. So, any ideas how much and how expensive, if done by myself?

One of our local members with an 01 replaced his plastic window (with another plastic window) without replacing the entire top. I'm not sure egg zachary how it was done, but he had some help from a friend of his who works at a body shop. I think the only part of the top he had to replace was the strip just below the window. It looks decent and, from what I understand, the cost was very minimal.
