Great day today! I got my liscense today and I took out the S by myself for the first time...I didn't allow my self to get crazy, so you don't need to clear the road yet. I will look forward to seeing you guys at the detail day!

It would be great if everyday was this nice . The stereo rocks . I need to get an IPOD soon as there is a world of difference between radio and cd's with this set up. Sat. Radio would work too, but I'll try the IPOD first. Crystal clear sound at 70mph with the top down going to lunch today.
Rob - Hope Linda's lasik went well. She'll love it. Had mine 4 years ago. Best money I've ever spent, except maybe the dollars spent on the S.
Shawn - any luck on installing the changer?

Agreed! Great day!

Congratulations on your license and your first solo drive in the S (the truth, RIGHT??). It's an unforgiving car if mis-handled, if you haven't heard that one before... (sorry, I'm a Dad, too)

I have a question about this set up. Do you mean to use IPOD through your radio set up with FM transmitter?

I bought the Alpine Ipod Interface that plugs into the AI-Net of the HU. Then you plug the Ipod into the Interface with the supplied cable. The HU will then control the Ipod. Some don't like this setup as you will lose the Ipod controls while it's plugged in. They say the HU's search isn't as fast as the Ipod's controls. You will need an aftermarket Alpine with that's Ipod ready to use the Interface.

Sure is the truth...but it was only in the neighborhood
I definately know that the car is un-forgiving and I don't plan on trying anything that I know I can't do (which is just about everything ) Hell, I am just getting used to driving a manual car.

I am sorry but this is way too complicated for me. My son has an IPOD but I can't get him to lend it to me for even a day. I should get one but can't imagine an old man with an IPOD trying to look hip.

Another great day, a little chilly, but the heater took care of that during the sunset drive home. Hope you all got the top down today
