Default 2002 S2000!

Does anyone know when the new, 2002 S2ks are going to be available for sale in Atlanta?

A few dealer already are claiming that they already have allocated units heading for their lots.

Honda Carland said that they should be getting a Sebring Silver "soon". Not sure of the exact date, you could give them a call.

I wonder if we'll see both MY2001's and MY2002's on the same dealer lot together? Seems like if we did someone could get a really good deal on a 2001.

I was down at South Honda this past weekend getting my first oil change for the Stook (they honored the free oil change the saleman had promised). Didn't see any 2002's but they did have a black 2001 with the hardtop for sale. That's the first one I've seen with that option pre-installed. Some of the others usually have the spoilers and whatnot.

The current "Bend Over and Take It" Sticker for a full-boat MY2001 with EVERY *&&*%%$ thing Including the hardtop, everything preinstalled, is $47k.

The dealer which I ordered from had put in my 2002 order in August 16th. (it will take at least 1 month for it to be build) So, I'll probably get my VIN # around Sept. 16th?? (or some time around that date) Then, it will take another month or so for it to ship to US and transport from West cost to my dealer by train.

Last year, I got my car right before Thanksgiving! It took me one weekend to drive up there with a rental car and drove it back the next day and VTECed on the same day right when I crossed over the TN line! (after over 700 miles of driving!) And that's before any dealer here had a yellow one on the lot!
