Dan, I would wait until you come to Jax and let Mase do it. If you cannot wait then make sure you watch the tune being done. I gained quite a bit with a retune and headed with Mase. I gained 3 with header alone and retune gained another 8 whp.

that sounds good

what do you think would be my best gains with a VAFC?

testpipe + intake?
testpipe + exhaust?
testpipe + header?

i would (obviously) think it would depend on which brand

Jays or toda header
65mm+ TP
and a nice single exhaust (but it would most likely be too loud for you)

IF it was me id go w/ a nice header, TP and stock exhaust considering you dont want anything loud. and i think the header would make that stock exhaust more raspy also

I wanna go VAFC also.

Whens the next "Mase tune meet"

I had a spoon header and a testpipe in my uk car and it sounded ok
it was a little raspy but I don't care too much about that

it revved a lot quicker

yeah my toda and tp makes mine rev a lot quicker. id love to get a lightened flywheel and some 4.77 gears that might be something to look into.

i think your best bet is getting a header, intake and testpipe to go with the VAFC and then hold out till you can get to mase and let him tune it for you.... sorry i have no faith in carter racing.

Atleast if you let someone else tune, let them watch the tune. Not just give you a sheet telling you your whp!

I agree Paul. Header and test pipe. The is really all I have besides the chopped up stock exhaust.
