Default ATL Roads...

So, the past few days (except todays rain) has made me miss my car, alot! AND THEN, I go for a drive to get some food and it reminds me how glad I am I am not driving the S.

So, how do you all do it? I'm driving an f-250 and being bounced around, what about something with a stiffer suspension? Not only the poor road condition, every other motorist around here is an idiot! I have only seen one s2k in 3 days. A spa yellow in downtown. not sure of the road but it was Monday on the same road as the CNN center, East side of ATL.

I agree, I hate driving downtown in my S.

Get outside the city and it's much better...

I wouldn't say the city in a whole is a horrible. Just a few area's inside the perimeter. Sandy Springs, Doraville, Gwinnett, Marietta, etc, they all have pretty good roads. I live in Sandy Springs, just 15 minutes outside the center of downtown. No problems here at all.

All the roads near Ga Tech are horrible. Northside, North Ave, 10th street, 14th street,....and now the reconstruction going on is just making traffic worse.

GA roads are known to be one of the best in the nation - or so I've heard. Downtown is an exception. It's always nicely paved wherever I go...
