I'm new to the s2k forums and live in the Altlanta area so I thought I'd drop in and say hello. I just picked up my Formula Red 04 from Ed Voyles Sunday! Quick question. Does anyone know a good local performance driving school? Thinking about autocrossing. Thanks!

 

You can visit www.s2katlanta.com for more info on what's happening on a local level. If you'd like to join the club must send an email to mistervlus and he'll be glad to help.

The club has a couple upcoming track days, one next month at Roebling Road and one in October at Little Talladega. Otherwise you can get in touch with Panoz Racing School and do a weekend course at Road Atlanta.

The website also has info on AutoX dates for Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Both the BMW and Porche clubs are doing them, I think it's $25 to join them.

Welcome. I think you will have a good time with us Atlanta folks. Plenty of info---stuff to participate in, more or less , depending on what suits you.
How do you like the car so far? What did you have before the S?

Thanks for the info and welcome guys! I think I've had a permanent smile on my face ever since I bought the S. I used to drive a Chevy Camero and sold it a while back cause I was always having to fix something. Currently I drive a 2000 Honda Civic as my daily commuter to save the wear and tear on the S.
