Default Dyno day #2 poll

Who will be interested in another dyno day since I am thinking about renting the place for the day. I need a yes or no from you guys.

I want to test specific parts all day long too see what has HP and what's bullshit since my intake and cat suck ass.

Keith gave me this idea (thanks)

So if I can get enough people to chip in I think I can pay the rest and rent it out for a day of fun

Note: Date is not yet confirmed.

Tims2k,

I might be interested if the date is after the following:
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
K&N or JR Filter
Oil Change To 10W30

I would like to do one run after each change is made, starting with the oil change. The only problem is, I just had an oil change. I guess I could forego the oil change if I had to.

Actually I am awaiting a Supercharger, wheels, C-West kit, and new seats all due in about 6 weeks or so.

I also will be switching out parts to see if they gain.

Do the wheels affect the HP??? I know John and Roland had wheels?

I might be interested as long as it's not too soon.

FYI - yes, the rims will change the HP output by a little (probably less than 2hp), when you're comparing same cars w/ everything the same. This is because you're altering the gearing ratio by a little (unless your stock rim + tire height is the same before and after the swap).

Tim,

John Bucy and I dynoed almost identically (194.5hp vs. 194.3) and I'm running aftermarket wheels. I don't think wheels will make a big difference.
John Ra was running those 19" and he had approx. 4 more horses so again, I don't think the wheels come into play here.

I would really like to wait for a while (maybe into Nov.). I'll have a few more miles on my car (roadtripping to MIAMI in Oct.), JR Filter, a fresh Synthetic Oil change.... and hopefully, it will be cooler.

Cheers,

Tim,
I'll probably be out there just for fun to see your testing results. Maybe I can be talked into it....
