I'm going to go driving up near Dahlonega tomorrow through wolf pen gap.

I live up here and go to school in Middle GA, and I'm very familiar with the roads. The loop is about 40 miles and will take about an hour and a half or so, easily some of the best roads in GA.

I was thinking about going up a little after lunch, anyone want to join?

Yea I would say it might not be worth it coming all the way from Savannah. Maybe in the future!

wish i could, when are you heading up there next? i wanna get to know the area and learn the best roads to run.

 

I'll probably go either around 10am or 2pm.

I am up for going along, either as a cameramen in the passenger seat or driving behind.
I might need to get someone to hold the camera though.

 

theres a great 3 lane road there up blood mountain? I think.. anyways were drove it once and Ihit a patch of oil from a carton on the other side of the road! I didn't know what it was or have time to slow I mean I just went over and felt the backend of the car go left about 2ft
Somehow managed to get it back inline without going into a tank slapper but that was a serious turtle head moment for sure

its a great road though I wish i lived around there we have no good roads in savannah
