Default Lady in YELLOW!

Yesterday I was cruising home and passed a lady in a yellow S. I told her about the club breifly between two different stop lights on Barret Pkwy. She had talked to one of us, but hadn't taken advantage of the club. I told her where online to look so maybe we'll have another person to play with. Just wanted let everyone know and If she is reading this welcome her to the club. Sorry I missed you all this weekend, I just talked to Dwight and he let me know what a good time everyone had. See you all soon! Wade

Hey S2Fly .... Just signed on and found your post. Thanks for the info about the board. I'd signed up a long time ago, but just never took advantage of it.

Now, to answer the question, no special exhaust. Entirely stock at this time. However, I have just started talking with someone about doing some mods ... probably suspension, exhaust, and whatever I can do to bring a higher performance out of the engine.

So guys, I'm ready to listen. Where should I start to really get this baby flying?

Hey Marilyn,
Welcome to club!

There is a Under the Hood forum that you can visit to get info about performance mods. My suggestion before you get started, is to ask yourself what do you REALLY want the S2000 to do. If you plan on turbo or Super charger, I would hold off on the exhust mod, until you know which you are going to do. You would not want to buy and exhust now, just to find out later that it will cause you an issue later.

If you are looking at suspension, I would recommend an X-brace to start with. It is the best way to increase stiffness, and improve handling. As far as lowering the ride, I would not recommend it. Every post that I have read to date, indicate that it causes oversteer. There are more technically inclined people on this board that can give you all the info on that.

Hope to meet you soon, on one of our drives.

Todd

I was braving the weather and I waved, but she had the top up so I didn't see if she did or not. She didn't seem like the enthusiast type, but you never know. She had dark long hair and a dark skin tone.
