Hey, I'm taking my son for a trip up to ATL in a few weeks and we are checking out a Braves game and I plan on taking Marta to the underground then using the shuttle. On the way back we are riding the Marta back to Lenox station. Just wondering how that station/area is after a night game. Will a lot of people be riding the Marta back to that station after the game too? Not too worried about myself but having my 8 year old son with me makes me question it a little. Thanks for any input.

 

Hey! This sub forum is super dead because of the facebook group but I figure I'll answer for ya.

Ive ridden the shuttle multiple times to braves games. I cant say too much about Lenox station in general but for the shuttle back from the game they drop you off right at 5 points and you dont have to walk through the underground which is nice at night. If you leave right when the game ends there will be plenty of people taking the shuttle back to marta and Northbound towards lenox so the train is bound to have plenty of braves fans on it. Like any public transportation there is the potential to see anything and everything on marta so just always be prepared.
