Meet
Some of us Southerns are heading up coast to watch the race tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone of you people from Savannah might want to meet up after we leave the race? If you are interested then post up. We are leaving Kingsland at roughly 8:30. My number is 912-276-0655, if you see this after in the morning then just send me a text or call if you want to meet up. See everyone tomorrow!
Thanks,
Timothy

Just got home from a wonderful day of racing and eating.
Thanks everyone that showed up. I know it was really short notice.
Andrew- Your knowledge of the city was a godsend.
Chelsea- You are not freakishly tall.

Awesome meet folks. Had a ton of fun. If anyone knows of a decent job in Savannah, I am all for moving up there!!
The race was exciting. To watch the dicing action between Ian and the RX8 was like watching two Olympic fencers thrust and perry.
Andrew...thanks for the guidance. Personally, I love hole in the wall type places. They provide the most character of a city. You can get Starbucks anywhere and every one is exactly the same...what fun is that?!
I'm actually glad that Crab Shack was too packed. North Beach Grill was a hoot...or as Dan called it, "dodgy". I would have expected to see Jimmy Buffett bellied-up to the bar. What could have been better than sitting outside after an afternoon rain within earshot of the ocean while Bob Marley wafts through the night air...listening to Peter and James tell Navy stories...watching vids of Ian trading paint with a Miata. I loved the food! Mmmm, Caribean jerk chicken with spicy sweet pea pods, red beans & rice, sweet potato rounds and a pinapple chutney...damn that's good eats. I think I like dodgy.
Chelsea...was a pleasure to meet you! What a unique person! Gotta get you racing though.
And do let me know if you want to sell the top...I'll definitely pull it out for you and give money to boot.
Now...where are all those pics everyone was taking??!!

It was good to meet you guys too. Seemed like a good time was had by all(at least after we got some seating). Anytime you're in the area give a shout and we'll get together. Savannah's got alot of fun, dodgy spots.

Off to Savannah!
