Default Mountain Drive?

OK sports fans, its been a while since I have been in the mountains (conventions, weddings, life in general). Who is up for a drive either this Saturday or Sunday? I checked weather.com and both days are supposed to be dry with highs of 78 degrees. Sounds close to perfect.
I am going to go up at least one of the days, but, of course, its always more fun with you folks.

Bobg, I tried calling several people on the spur of the moment last Sunday morning but nobody was available .

This weekend many of us will be going to the NOPI event, next weekend is the Dragonball Run, and on the 29th TMS02 is doing a Cookout and then we're going to the car show after, so I think my plate is full for now.

However, if people are interested we (might) could try to work out an EARLY drive on Sunday morning (the 16th). I"m talking about meeting in Dahlonega no later than 9 AM. We may not get many takers as NOPI's are both Saturday and Sunday.

Is anyone interested in a mountain drive this weekend? Either the 29th or 30th.

This last Sat. was the first time I took my S in the mountains. It was the most fun, I have ever had in a car. Well let me rephrase that "The most fun driving a car" . I could not believe how well these cars handle. Staying in VTEC through miles of twisties was exhilirating. I plan on doing this at least once every weekend. I am ADDICTED!

Saturday morning would be prefered by me. The mornings are always the best, before the mini vans constipate the motorways.

There is a slim chance that I might have to bail out, I just found out the I might get a last minute ticket the F1 in Indianapolis. .

As I said a "slim chance", but it would be a great weekend.

OK, the Indy tickets fell through (sigh). But a mountain drive is still a great thing. How about Sat morning meet at Toosie's at the end of Georgia 400? About 9 am? What do you guys think?
