Newcomer
Hi everyone,
Not so much a newcomer to the s2k community, I've been an owner and part of this site for going on 7 years now. I'm from Baltimore (been here my whole life) but I have recently been offered a promotion and relocation to ATL which is tentatively set for sometime this summer should I choose to accept (which is really dependent on my +1 as of now).
Just looking for some independent opinions from local natives about living in the ATL area about the good and bads. I've done some exploring myself as to where to live (I think I am set on Marietta as of now but I am open to other suggestions) but I am also curious about other things such as traffic, cost of living (from what I see it is a lot cheaper than up here), crime, and most importantly the education system as my +1 is a teacher and relocation for her might not be that easy as far as sourcing a replacement teacher position.
Any input anyone may have would be more than appreciated, especially if any of you happen to know any teachers or might have spouses or significant others who are teachers who may be able to provide some insight.
Thanks in advance!
