Just had my '02 Kawasaki 1500 Mean Streak delivered this afternoon. Now I will have to decide how to spend my time when the sun comes out again. If the sun comes out again.

This bike is beautiful. All black and chrome. If I ever figure out how to do the picture posting thing I will add one.

I doubt that I will make it to Louisiana soon, but I will be heading to Panama City Beach, Destin, and Ft. Walton Beach Memorial Day weekend. It's the annual trip for me and a friend from Kentucky. Used to be about nine of us, but now it's just us two die-hards.

You should head up to Florida for that weekend and join us for some serious beer drinking.

If any of you Atlanta guys ride, you are welcome to join us. Even if you don't have a bike, you could drive your S2K.

Thanks guys. This bike is very kool to ride. I get just as many looks on the bike as I do in the S2K. I must admit though, the S2K is more exciting to drive. But that is to be expected since this bike is a cruiser and is supposed to have plenty of torque, sound very gutsy, and look very good. I would equate the sport bikes ride to that of the S2K. Quick and nimble.

p.s. A cruiser is what you get when you become to scared to take the corners with the foot pegs dragging.

I put another 40 miles on the bike last night...getting used to the difference in handling between the Mean Streak and the Z1.

No riding tonight. Tonight is dedicated to cleaning up the S2K for Saturday.
